Cozy and comfortable, modern and traditional, the rooms of the Kerka Watermill will surely meet all of your needs. Our rooms were designed to appeal to all tastes and reward our visitors with a unique experience. When was the last time you’ve spent a night in a several hundred years old heritage building?

Common Areas

We shaped the 3 story mill to provide you with all the necessary facilities that you can think of, because we wanted you to have a pleasant stay. Our team did its best to preserve the watermill’s architectural value, historical traits and atmosphere. We have a created a spacious common area on the ground floor to make room for games and social activities. According to our plans, a café will open on this level from next spring to cater for your caffeine intake. The courtyard has a large green area for you to practice your favorite sports, enjoy sunbathing, or just lay back and relax.  The fans of open-air grilling will have their chance to pursue their passion, as well as fishing enthusiasts, who can test their skills against the fish of the nearby Kerka River.

Guest Rooms

On the first floor, right next to the exhibition hall, lies our centerpiece heritage room, the so-called mill room. Step inside and travel back in time! You will surely admire the traditional decoration and furniture that we used to create a genuine historic mood. The room is suitable for two persons, therefore we recommend it for couples.

We placed the kitchen on the second story with the common dining area. It was our intention to care for all of your needs, so we supplied the kitchen with cooking options, fridge, microwave oven, electric kettle and a coffee pot to help you prepare some tasty meals. If you don’t have the time at home to have breakfast or dinner together, you will have the chance to cook your favorite dishes and eat together. You can cook whatever you wish, let it be something on the stove or a grill by the outdoor fireplace.

We have two larger rooms on this level with separate toilet and shower. The first one has a double bed inside, and the second one can accommodate 4-5 beds based upon request. The rooms have shared access, so we recommend it to families and group of friends. The spacious indoor areas are there for you to relax comfortably after a long day of hiking. The windows open to the endless countryside, and the thick walls keep the cold outside during winter and keep the rooms cool in the summer.
